| I asked my machine shop who did my heads who for a reputable cam regrinder because I am converting to solid tappets from hydraulic. They gave me a name of a company in the north east. I called that company and told the tech guy my engine application. That tech gave me a name of another company who does cams because he is not familier with our motor. I called this other company up. The guy has done many VG30DETT cams for an un-named engine builder(not Z1 or JWT ) and is working on a set now. He has many profiles available. He has been doing cams for 25 years. He said he can grind a set for $500. Tell him what specs I am looking for, lift, duration. He can put in ramps for solid tappets
based on lash and spring pressure. I am not going to give out his name and contact information yet. But he said if there is an interest or market for solid lifter cams, he can do them. Right now, only Tomei makes solid lifter cams for our engines. Just thought I would share.
